The First Lady of Benue State has called on the youths in Gwer West Local Government to always embrace sports activities and support Governor Samuel Ortom's administration for second term to bring more dividend of democracy to the people of

Gwer West.
The first lady of Benue State made the call today at the LGEA primary school Naka. The first lady who was represented by our amiable brother, Kwaghemba Kenneth. The first lady made them understand that Sport activities is a worldwide game and many talents have been developed through sports,therefore, he advised them to be disciplined and exhibit a spirit of sportsmanship in order to attain a higher level. The first lady further stressed the need for youths to support her husband's administration come 2019 and she said her main motive of organizing this competition is to discover talents and select players who can represent our local government at the international level. The first lady finally solicited for their support for Ortom 4+4=8 and she promised more dividend of democracy at the grassroots level.
On his part, the Local FA/Sport Secretary of Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State, Mr. Oliver DRABA expressed appreciation to the First Lady of Benue State for bringing such a good development to our youths in Gwer West and he advised them to always embrace sports activities and be disciplined in the field of sports and always make use of their talents to become great footballers. He finally urged them to support their sister for more things to come their way.
Earlier, the chairman of Her Excellency's Cup Shuabi Musa Haruna expressed satisfaction for the prices of first, second, third and the participated teams for the competition and he said it is a thing of joy for Gwer West to be part of the first Benue State family and he urged them to support our first lady for second term to bring more dividend of democracy to the people of Gwer West. The chairman stressed the need for players to shun misconduct and indiscipline during the competition in order not to involve in misconduct and he made them to understand that the Naka society have trained Referees now who have undergone training in Abuja for preparation for Governor's cup, for that reason they are not to tolerate any misconduct from players. The chairman finally prayed to God to grant the first Benue state family their heart desires come 2019.
