
ORTOM RELEASES FUNDS TO STEP-DOWN ELECTRICITY IN AGAGBE

Governor Ortom has released funds to stepdown electricity in Agagbe area of Gwer-West Local Government Area of Benue state.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local and Chieftaincy Affairs,
Chief Titus Zam made this known today in Agagbe during the Thanksgiving
and Bazaar day celebration of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Agagbe.
Chief Zam said the stepdown of electricity in the area was part of the developmental agenda of the Ortom led administration, stating that rural electrification was top priority of the present administration in its quest to transmit the development drive of the administration in rural areas.
He alluded that Governor Ortom needs the support and cooperation of the people to overcome the security challenge confronting the state, while entreating the people to embrace tolerance and vigilance under the present torrid condition of the state.
In affirming the goodwill, the council Chairman of Gwer-west Local Government Area, Mr Francis Ayagah said he was in touch with Bureau for rural development for onward mobilization of the contractor for swift execution of the project.
Most of the worshippers in a unanimous voice pledged not to relent in their prayers for Governor Ortom to realize his 4+4 agenda, stating that good turn deserves another.
In his remarks, Chairman of Hospitals Management Board, Hon. Jerome Torshimbe praised the leadership style of Chief Titus Zam and sued for the support of Governor Ortom who has the people at heart.
Earlier in his sermon the Catholic priest of St Francis Catholic Church Agagbe, Fr Titus Imojime charged Christians to be steadfast in service to God.
Prominent among stakeholders from Gwer-west LGA who accompanied Chief Titus Zam, were Dr. Fidelis Anweh, Hon. Godfrey Choughul, Mr Vincent Aondoakaa, he local Government party the party Chairman of APC Gwer-west LGA, Hon Tersoo Ayough and his secretary Hon Terngu Anagbe
